Navajo Nation families in Coconino County, Northern Arizona used to have to drive several miles to get internet.
Parents of these families had to scramble to find neighbors with wifi so their children could use it to complete their homework. It wasn’t easy or tenable, and students were at risk of falling behind. That’s why when 80 Starlink kits were donated to the community in 2021, families excitedly lined up to bring the internet into their homes. Now more families have the connectivity they need to keep moving forward.
