Pedro Salazar started Amigos Del Mar in 2010. It's an organization located on an island near Cartagena, Colombia.
Before Pedro installed Starlink, a reliable internet connection was not available. Now he uses his own experience to explain to the kids what the internet is. They run educational workshops to teach things like English, technology, and recycling. They also organize beach cleanups and other community activities, as well as provide surf lessons.
